Some kudos from a Parkinson’s patient for PatientsLikeMe, the awesome health social networking site that keeps me busy (and from blogging).
The more I learn about the symptoms, treatments (and their side effects), and daily struggles of patients with life-changing diseases, the more I appreciate my own health and that of my family. I’m sure I can’t imagine what it’s like to be diagnosed with something like Parkinson’s, and while I know it’s difficult, I hope that PatientsLikeMe and sites like it make things a little easier.
